Shak has had cash finishes in three consecutive World Series of Poker tournaments. She began this incredible run at the 36th World Series of Poker in 2005, when she worked her way through a field of 601 entrants to take 8th place in the $1,000 Ladies Only No Limit Hold'em event, which earned her $16,380. She returned to the World Series of Poker the following June, where she finished 76th place and picked up $3,790 for her performance in the $2,500 Short Handed No Limit Hold'em event.

Beth Shak registered her biggest ever win at the 38th World Series of Poker in June 2007. In a competitive field of 827, all competing for the prize pool of $2,282,520, Shak put in the best yet performance of her career when she finished runner-up in the $3,000 No Limit Hold'em and took home a whopping $328,683.
